Edward Okeimute Aziza is a distinguished Nigerian business executive, investor, and mechanical engineer with an established reputation for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and value-driven enterprise development. With extensive experience spanning the engineering, energy, mining, commodities, hospitality, and asset management sectors, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to identify high-value opportunities, build sustainable businesses, and lead transformative projects that contribute to economic growth across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

A native of Delta State, Edward is the son of the late General Patrick Aziza, the first Military Governor of Kebbi State and former Minister of Communications and Minister of Commerce and Tourism. Inspired by a legacy of public service and leadership, he has cultivated a career defined by integrity, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

 

Edward combines strong technical expertise with global business insight and investment acumen. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna) and a Master’s degree in International Oil & Gas Management from the University of Dundee, Scotland. He further expanded his expertise through the Continuing Professional Development programme in Introduction to Mining, Mining Finance and Valuation of Mineral Projects at Imperial College London, reinforcing his capabilities in mining investment, project evaluation, and resource development. He further honed his executive education in entrepreneurship finance at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has further strengthened his understanding of strategic leadership, economic development, and global business dynamics.
